Alex Saar of Heritage Bricks has gone back in time to release his Expo Centre Building Kit exclusively with Vancouver Is Awesome.
36 years ago the iconic False Creek geo dome we now know as Science World, debuted as the Expo Centre for Expo 86. A celebration of Vancouver's centennial and a six-month-long world's fair showcasing innovations in Transportation and Communication from around the globe.
The original structure was designed by architect Bruno Freschi and completed in 1985, housing Canada's first Omnimax theatre.
